We could do a bonfire, we could make lots of mulch for our yard but here at the Axe House we have decided to do something good with it. We are happy to announce that we are teaming up with Lutheran Outreach College Hill Peace Park to help the homeless population of St. Louis stay warm over the winter months. So who wants to come help us chop up some wood for the homeless?
The Axe House is pleased to present our first charity event to support the US Veterans Foundation. On Halloween night the Zombies are coming to attack. Will you be ready to defend your friends and family? Do you have what it takes to hurl a 1.25 lb Axe with precision accuracy to stop the Zombie DEAD in his tracks? We will also be giving out cash prizes for the best costume AND the best chili. Details are in the event link.
Tickets will be limited and are expected to sell out fast so reserve your spot soon.#ZombieApocalypse #TheAxeHouse #Forthevets

We are a veteran and firefighter owned/operated business so we truly understand the importance of our homeland heros. As a result we want to give back to that community. All first responders receive 10% off of each visit. (ID Required)
We have a 11x17 printer to give you a Axe-tra motivational target to aim at. $5 charge for the first target. $2 each additional.

Being an active firefighter owned business, we understand the stress and real danger that our first responders endure on a daily basis. We always pray that everyone makes it home okay but occasionally that doesn't happen. That’s when our community shows its true colors. We always come together to lift up our brother or sister and give the family support. The Axe House showed it's support for our brother in blue on Jan 14th. The community came out and raised $2,500 for this injured Hero. We wish him Gods speed in recovery and can't wait to see him come throw axes in person very soon.
The Axes Games was a benefit axe throwing tournament hosted by the Monarch Firefighter Community Outreach group at the Axe House.. This event was created with the intent of raising money for Camryn Coughlin, a 7 year old boy who was recently diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy. To stop this rare genetic disease from progressing, Camryn is in need of a bone marrow transplant. That's where Monarch Firefighters and The Axe Games came in!
16 4-person teams competed in a double elimination tournament style for bragging rights, trophies, and prizes! Along with the tournament participants can enjoyed complimentary buffet food and beer, 50/50 raffles, and side games to keep the fun going.
This event rqaised $5,380 in total. All proceeds from this event went towards Camryn and any medical expenses his family will incur. We appreciate all of the participants for coming out and making this event a huge success. Thank you.
August 20th 2018 The Axe House is at it again teaming up with local firefighter with an amazing fundraiser for MDA! There is still space available if you want to put a 4 man team together contact The Axe House at TheAxeHouseSTL@gmail.com
We understand that this has been a trying time for everyone and we are very eager to get back to serving our community with a safe and fun activity for the entire family.
However, to do our part to keep everyone involved safe we are instituting the following changes to our booking procedure and store policies:
⁃Parties will only be able to book for 1 hour at a time. Parties wanting 2 hours will need to make a separate reservation for the second hour.
⁃Due to social distancing regulations still in effect and sanitation policies only 8 groups or 30 people will be allowed to participate in the facility during any given time slot.
⁃Parties will not, under any circumstances, be combined or will have to share a lane. Each party will be in effect purchasing a private lane for that time slot.
⁃For the safety of employees and participants reservations will have the option to be paid for in full through the online booking process in advance.
⁃Walk in groups will not be accepted during this time so that we can ensure proper staffing and social distancing measures. Please reserve online via our 24/7 portal.
⁃All waivers must be filled out in advance or via a personal cell phone device. Waiver stations in the facility have been removed for sanitation concerns.
⁃Since availability is severely limited due to State mandates, our cancellation policy will remain in effect requiring 48 hours notice for a cancellation to receive a refund. Only 8 groups or 30 people are allowed to participate at a time so a group not showing up the day of for a spot that could be filled with notice is detrimental. However, we understand emergencies and people getting sick so if something does arrive the day of your reservation we will handle these situations on a case by case basis.
Our Part:
⁃Our facility will be sanitized every hour to prepare for the next incoming groups and lane usage will alternated to ensure proper sanitation time.
⁃Axe Masters will maintain 6 feet of distance between the party and themselves for everyone’s safety.
⁃Axes will be issued to throwers at check in time to ensure proper sanitation measures have been taken.
We understand the concern of reopening our facilities as they are not essential to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. We do not make this decision without thought or care for that situation. However, economically, our Veteran owned and operated local Small Business must open as soon as government mandates are lifted so that we may have a chance of surviving the financial fall out the pandemic has caused. We truly appreciated the love and support everyone has shown and pray that even if you don’t agree with our decision that you can understand our reasoning. We look forward to seeing everyone safe and happy once this is all over.
